The Konica Minolta model will complement a raft of digital equipment that includes two Xerox 8080 digital presses, an Océ CS665 and a Xerox 7000AP.
According to Martin Lett Jnr, director at Marstan Press, the new machine will help cater for the burgeoning demand for digital print from its customers.
"Customers require fast turnarounds and we were finding that on too many occasions the Xerox presses were awaiting engineers which really put pressure on our scheduling," he added.
Lett said that the company's investment in Xerox last October had been beneficial to the business but found that there was still a need for high-quality output.
He said: "Whilst the performance of the Xerox 8080s has improved since switching to Xerox digital paper and they do a great job on a large percentage of our jobs, they have struggled to meet our quality expectations on the really high quality work."
In addition to "superior quality" when printing solids, Lett said the Konica machine would give the Kent company increased capacity to help growth its personalised greetings cards sevice, WinstonandHarry.com.
