Over the last few years, Manipal Press Ltd has added a large number of products, services and solutions that are extensions of the print business and several that are beyond the print business.
 
Mukhopadhyay said: "With the addition of a diverse range of products plus services plus solutions, the change in name from Manipal Press Ltd to Manipal Technologies Ltd would represent the range of technologies deployed in its offerings and will now conform against the breadth and scope of its business."

The approvals for the change in name from the Regulatory bodies have been received and the company has begun operating as Manipal Technologies Ltd.
 
Founded in 1941, Manipal Press (now ManipalTech) was the PrintWeek India Company of the Year 2009. In addition, they bagged two category awards. This year in 2011, they are once again a front runner to bag Awards in the Quality and Performance segments.
