The five-colour Speedmaster XL 75+LX is due at the Redditch site this month and will be delivered with a Stahlfolder TH/KH 66.
The new press includes Prinect Inpress control to help smooth out workflow and improve colour control, the company said, and will output high-volumes of ad agency work, such as brochures and marketing material.
The 18,000sph "ticked all the boxes", according to managing director Mark Fearon.
He said: "Our line up will help us serve a niche just below the B2 long-perfector market. It saves on paper, which we like from a commercial and environmental perspective."
Fearon was helped by consultants at Vision in Print, who pin-pointed colour control and faster makereadies as key areas for improvement.
"We wanted to guarantee top quality at speed and the right unit price. Often Pantones are specified along with LAB values," he said.
"And customers want a printout from the press with fully provable colour, which Inpress control gives them. Inpress also automates many makeready procedures."
His company, which has FSC, PEFC and ISO 9001 quality accreditation, is heading towards ISO 14001 and ISO 12647 colour control.
