The news, which was broken by PrintWeek earlier this month, follows the withdrawal of several other major exhibitors from the Excel-bound event.
Komori said that its decision was the result of "strategic and economical movements in the printing industry" and had been taken following discussions with customers and an investigation of market developments in the EMEAR region.
However, in a further sign that the Drupa/Ipex cycle in Europe is coming under pressure, Komori confirmed that it would exhibit at all other international exhibitions currently on the calendar.
Asked what its plans were for China Print, Graph Expo/Print, Igas and Drupa, a Komori's European marketing manager Karin van den Heuvel said: "At this stage we will attend all major exhibitions mentioned."
