However Bolza-Schünemann stopped short of discussing negotiations with the fallen press manufacturer, confirming that its interest was just that for the time being.

KBA previously suggested to PrintWeek that it could be interested in some of the servicing agreements at Manroland but questions still lie over the issue of overcapacity in the press market.
This comes less than a week since that PricewaterhouseCoopers were appointed as administrator for Manroland Great Britain. Zelf Hussain and David Baxendale were appointed on 5 December.

KBA has emerged as a possible suitor for the insolvent press manufacturer Manroland after its chief executive Claus Bolza-Schnemann confirmed the company "expressed interest" to administrator Werner Schneider.
