The paper is manufactured using a chlorine-free process and it is also FSC certified.
The programmes were printed by John Good which specialises in catering for theatres, arts organisations and the entertainment industry.
McNaughton communication manager Samantha Brown said: "We are pleased to be able to support the Royal Variety Performance and hope the event continues to raise the funds needed to help hundreds of entertainers throughout the UK."
The event is presented annually in aid of the Entertainment Artistes' Benevolent Fund, held this year on 16 December.
The James McNaughton Group supplies graphic and office paper, board, plastics, and other substrates to the graphic arts and print markets. It has an annual turnover of £245m.
