Duplo’s stand will have an array of new kit aimed at adding value to the print line. Of the 10 new machines on its stand, it’s bookletmaking star will probably be the Digital System 445 Bookletmaker, which cuts, creases and creates booklets in one pass. Meanwhile, the new entry-level DB-280 perfect binder will be shown, along with the DKT200 trimmer.

The flagship CABS6000 will take centre stage. The 17-clamp binder is able to produce 6,000 books an hour and can bind book sizes from A6 to A4. Also on show is the SB-09S which can produce 4,000 books per hour and incorporates an interchangeable glue tank for both EVA and PUR hot melt glues. Also new for Ipex is the BQ-470V four-clamp binder, the BQ170CFC single-clamp perfect binder and the BQ270C, which incorporates a nozzle PUR system.

In addition to the PowerSquare Booklet Maker 200 and the PowerSquare Book stacker, Watkiss will be demonstrating the new PowerSquare Sheet Feeder. The device accepts output from a wide range of high-volume sheetfed digital printers and can handle up to 12,000 sheets per hour.
