Ricoh will launch NowPrint, a JDF compliant SaaS web-to-print package suitable for corporate and commercial applications (see Star Product, p30). The company said that the SaaS model was chosen to reduce the risk and upfront cost for printers looking to add W2P to their portfolio. The software will also be available as an entry-level package called ASAP on a try-before-you-subscribe version through the Ricoh Business Driver Programme (RBDP).
