GI Direct signs up to Two Sides

GI Direct has become the latest company to sign up to the Two Sides campaign to promote the positives of print and paper.

Managing director Robin Welch said: "We are delighted to join Two Sides, as a symbol of our dedication to continually improve our environmental best practice and our commitment to help educate on sustainability within the direct marketing industry."

The marketing and print specialist has been certified to ISO14001 for 10 years, while its parent GI Solutions Group was awarded with a Green Apple award from the Green Organisation in 2011 for waste management and product efficiencies.

Two Sides director Martyn Eustace added: "There is still much misinformation about the sustainability of direct mail and, by working with companies such as GI Direct and others, we can spread the message that print in general and direct mail in particular can be a sustainable and effective way to communicate."
