Gandinnovations details Print '09 and Fespa lineup, debuts FTR option

Grand-format specialist Gandinnovations has announced it will be showcasing its latest equipment at print exhibitions this year as it continues to trade through its ongoing bankruptcy protection.

The company is to debut its 1224 NanoJet2 with a flat-to-roll option at this year's Print 09 in Chicago. The hybrid machine can print rolled materials up to 2.4m wide and up to two inches thick.

Also on show will be the direct-to-fabric 3324 Aquajet. The 3.3m wide press uses water-based inks for printing on any polyester-based fabric and features an integrated infrared heater to cure the ink.

Gandinnovations will also demonstrate a third grand-format printer at Fespa Mexico: the Jeti 3348 JetSpeed. The JetSpeed comprises 48 Spectra printheads with a productivity rate of up to 232sqm per hour at 300dpi.

"I wanted to exhibit the most effective printers I thought Mexico could handle," said Cristian Gonzales, sales manager for Gandinnovations Mexico. "The Fespa attendees are going to get the show of their life when they see the output coming from these three printers."
