The latest Uvistar is a superwide, 350sqm/hr printer that can print both 40pl and 20pl drops using parallel drop size (PDS) technology and uses printhead heating to make ensure consistent ink density. Though a roll-to-roll machine, it can also be configured as a hybrid flatbed and is targeted at indoor and outdoor applications.
"We’ve had lots of interest in both the Uvistar II and the Onset," said Tudor Morgan, European group marketing manager for Graphics.
"Our Euromedia range has also ensured a good flow of visitors. I think this Fespa is going to be very rewarding."
The 470sqm/hr, 600dpi S40 fits into the existing Onset portfolio between the 310sqm/hr S20 and the 750sqm/hr S70.
Other kit on show includes the Acuity range of flatbed printers, including the recently launched Acuity Advance and Acuity Advance X2, which feature high-speed billboard quality modes that produce work at 35sqm/hr.
