There will be more than 80 participants from India at the Frankfurt Book Fair to be held from 6 to 10 of October 2010. This includes: prominent printers like Manipal Press, Thomson Press, Prints India, Jak Printers, Aegean Offset, etc. Discovery Publishing House, Dreamland Publications, CBS Publishers & Distributors are some of the major publishers to be exhibiting at the fair.
"Our experience at Frankfurt Book Fair over the last two years was great and we already have appointments lined up for this year" said Khushru Patel of Jak printers. "There should be greater participation from Indian printers as the world is looking towards India as the prime supplier after China," he added.
Capexil, the facilitator for the exports of Indian books is the organiser for the Indian stalls at Frankfurt. Argentina would be the guest country at the fair this time.
"We are here to increase the Indian participation not only from publishers but also printers and service providers, and have seen a tremendous increase in Indian participation in last two years" said Mary Therese Kurkalang, marketing and sales manager of the German Book Office which is based in Delhi.
