Four new categories went on to the e-commerce site this week, including branded t-shirts and accessories to promote companies and their services.
“Personalised clothing is becoming evermore popular,” said chief product officer Christian Maass. “We see enormous market potential in the textile industry.
“And we want to be one of the pioneers and trendsetters to deliver top quality, affordable products. An easy-to-use online tool lets customers design their own garments and accessories.”
Customers can choose colour t-shirts, polo shirts, long and short-sleeved tops and blouses, jackets, fleeces and bistro aprons from the online printer.
More product lines will be added to the textile range in the coming months, including printable Flexfit caps and other accessories.
Each item is customisable according to the customers’ own design, style and colour. Three types of finishing include digital transfer printing, digital direct printing and embroidery.
Garments are made of 100% cotton and can be ordered in as few as five items or up to 100 pieces of clothing per transaction.
Senior product manager Kevin Santo said: “We want to further expand our product range beyond traditional paper printing.
“We want to offer customers as much service as possible along the marketing value chain and by doing so push Flyeralarm as number-one online supplier across all product categories.”
Head of UK and Ireland operations Alexandra Lange added: “With our established printing facilities we offer high-quality prints at low price with next-day delivery.”
The online print company receives more than 15,000 orders and dispatches around 20,000 packages daily. It was founded by Thorsten Fischer 13 years ago and is based in Würzburg, Germany.
Flyeralarm produces brochures, merchandising, 3D prints and flyers and boasts sales of more than €300m (£216m) from 15 stores across Europe, including the UK.
