Both Uchida Machine Group and Terry Cooper Services said that their stands were busy during the event, as well as signing a number of deals.
Uchida director Tony Hills said: "Overall the show this year was much improved, to the point that I would rate the quality of the visitors better than shows that we did last year.
According to Hills, the Uchida AeroCut, U-Coater and Versatrim were particular crowd pullers. The supplier had special "on stand" prices for the three machines.
Meanwhile, Terry Cooper services sold a Bourg BB3002 Binder and CMT130 trimmer to an undisclosed buyer on the last day of the event.
According to sales manager Dean Stayne, the buyer invested in the machinery as a direct result of being able to see the machines working first hand.
Stayne said: "Our past experience at Northprint was a big influence on our decision to exhibit this year. The show has consistently provided us with the right audience for our products and this year was no exception. There was a steady flow of interest across the three days, but if we hadn’t have attended the show in this capacity we may not have secured this particular investment."
