"The key to sustainable growth lies in our ability to innovate," said Fespa sales & marketing director Marcus Timson. "Whether investing in technology, creating niches, exploring unusual applications, devising fresh approaches to old challenges or exploring new business models, Fespa 2010 will inspire the printing community to innovate in order to survive and thrive."
The organisation believes that innovation is a logical step on from its revolution theme for Fespa Digital in May this year.
For the 2010 event, which runs from the 22-26 June, Durst has signed up as the first innovation partner.
"This sponsorship is especially meaningful for Durst, since we constantly strive to innovate and introduce new products to the market," said Durst marketing manager Michael Lackner.
Other new sponsors include Kornit and Falk & Ross, who have signed up to sponsor Fespa Fabric.
Previous sponsors, EFI, HP, Kiian and Xaar have renewed their sponsorship of the event in 2010.
Fespa is confident that the 2010 event will be a success with three-quarters of the exhibition space (25,000sqm) already contracted. The digital side of the show is shaping up to be the biggest event of its kind in Europe and is 80% contracted with many leading firms taking their biggest stands ever.
