The organisers have reported more than 5,000 registrations so far, adding 50 new registrations per day for the event that will span 36,000sqm of the Hamburg Messe.
Frazer Chesterman, managing director of Fespa events, said the show had arrived at a time when the digital community was "forging ahead with increasing optimism".
He said: "At this year’s event, we’ll be concentrating on the characteristics that print service providers need to adopt in order to survive and thrive in this changed business landscape.
"There are plentiful examples of that evolution in the digital marketplace, of printers who are achieving continued and renewed success with new technologies, innovative materials, more efficient workflows, creative products, different business models or go-to-market plans."
The show is the fourth digital Fespa event following previous shows in Amsterdam and Geneva. According to Fespa, the move to Hamburg will help attract delegates from northern Germany, Benelux, Scandinavia, the Baltic states and eastern Europe.
