Key account manager Massimiliano Cruciani told Drupa Report Daily that Elitron had sold a Kombo SD to a Russian packaging company and another to a Moroccan digital printing and packaging company.
He added that Trocart, an Italian packaging company, had also bought a Kombo TAV. Cruciani declined to reveal the value of the deals.
The Kombo SD is an automatic cutting plotter with integrated CAD-CAM system that can cut at up to 100m/min, according to the company.
The Kombo TAV is a cutting plotter with an integrated loading-unloading system that can reach speeds of 106m/min, Elitron said.
Cruciani said both machines employed patented technology that the Italian company had developed in-house.
In another Drupa deal, Cruciani said the Luzhniki Advertising Agency in Russia had ordered a second conveyor belt for the Kombo SD it bought last year, which would increase the cutting width from 2m to 3.5m.
