According to Suresh Ramakrishnan, publishing director at Haymarket Media India, the entries for the PrintWeek India Awards has commenced; and enquiries are pouring in for the 24 categories. The last day for submitting entries is 25 June 2011.
The judging for the Awards will take place on 29 July 2011 and the Awards Night on 25 August, 2011.
"Print continues to evolve and expand, reaching out to a much wider range of clients in India and overseas. PrintWeek India, in its capacity as media to promote the Indian print industry, is playing a leadership role in pushing the printers to produce great products. The PrintWeek India Awards event is our mission to inspire and encourage the printers to achieve that greatness," said Ramakrishnan who has 15 years of experience in the publishing industry.
As in the previous two editions, a select panel of jury comprising of print customers and experts will evaluate print entries in 24 categories. "The jury members of the previous two editions were print buyers who sought creativity and functionality. In fact, some of them tapped the award winning firms for print jobs; and thereby ensured business for the participating firms," added Ramakrishnan.
The deadline for sending entries for the third edition of PrintWeek India Awards is 25 June 2011.
