The Hampshire-based company will be giving live demonstrations of the FL-350 press, which is geared towards the label market and which uses servo technology to reduce job change times and set up wastage.
The press, which has a 350mm web width, substrate capacity from 30 to 450 microns and a maximum speed of 200m/min, also uses Edale’s ‘Pit Stop Colour Change’ system to enable operators to complete a full colour change in less than 90 seconds per station.
A spokesperson for Edale said: "The FL-350 is a new, mid range press aimed at label printers, which has been designed to fit between our Beta and Gamma models."
Edale has already sold its first FL-350 press to Douglas Storrie, a label printer from Lytham St. Annes, in Lancashire.
The company would not disclose an approximate price for the new press, saying that it would depend on the specification.
The Label Expo takes place from 28-30 September in Brussels, Belgium.
Demonstrations of the FL-350 flexo press will run everyday at the Edale stand in Hall 7, Stand 7M60 at 11.30, 13.30 and 15.30.
