Duplo will be exhibiting at The Print Show in September, at which it will officially unveil the new iSaddle X, an upgrade to the iSaddle first introduced at Drupa 2012. The new model expands on its predecessor’s automation and intelligence, with increased versatility across format sizes and additional capabilities for data integrity.

Also new will be the DC-516 cutter-creaser, designed to operate at speeds of up to 6,000sph with its 30-cut, 30-crease, 10-slit capacity, and the PFi Bind 2100, an advance on the 2000, with intelligent gluing and waste control enhancements. Both machines were previewed at Duplo's Summer Festival.

Prices of the new machines are to be disclosed upon customer request, but all three of Duplo’s new machines will be officially available to market as of their debuts at the Birmingham NEC event. The new machines will be shown alongside a range of existing kit.

“Like anybody else exhibiting at the Print Show, we are there to provide inspiration for people in commercial print – to show them how they can build on their businesses with new possibilities and differentiate themselves in the market,” said UK managing director Andy Benson.

“Through our portfolio, and the new machines we will be showing, we are trying to give people the ability to do things in a more automated way, and to extend the proposition they can offer to their customers."

Additionally, Duplo will unveil the new barcode option for its DuSense DDC-810 sensory coater, enabling further production automation and control in order to reduce turnaround times. The augmentation can be added retroactively to machines already installed, as well as being an option for newly bought DDC-810.

Duplo partner Multigraf's multi-finishing portfolio will also be on show at the company's stand.

Benson also hinted that a number of as-yet-unrevealed machines earmarked for debut may yet join the show line up in the coming weeks.
