Taking place between 15 and 16 February, Duplo will be showing a range of products, including its Drupa-launched PFI Di-Cut 300, its 600i Booklet System and a number of its multi-finishers.
So far two UK companies have invested in the 3,000sph mid-volume PFI, including Suffolk-based Springold Design & Print last June.
Last October, Duplo used its London Calling one-day event in Addlestone to give a number of new products their UK debut, including the PFI and its new Ricoh Inline Booklet System.
“This is the first of its kind,” said Duplo marketing manager Sarah Crumpler.
“The events landscape has been changing – we committed last year to doing The Print Show, and for 2017 we’ve committed to PrintWeekLive! and Ipex, so while PrintWeekLive! will focus on kit and content, which will be great, this is a show where you can get hands-on with all our kit.”
Other exhibitors at the show include Antalis, Friedheim, Renz, Infigo Software and Vivid, and Crumpler was full of praise for the companies that have so far signed up.
“Before we started running our Northern Lights show we launched the Finishing Alliance, a partnership with Friedheim and Renz, recognising that the three finishing product ranges were complementary to each other,” she said.
“Those events grew and we started including people like Infigo and Vivid and this is a re-birth in a way of something that was very successful. We are thinking it’s going to fit the market quite nicely at this point in time.”
40 to 50 companies have signed up to attend the show so far, with footfall estimated to be around 150.
A marketing campaign is due to kick-off today, with foiled invitations being sent out and salesmen from a number of exhibiting companies dropping off invites and handwarmers to potential attendees.
Duplo will also be exhibiting at PrintWeekLive!, taking place at the Wasps Arena, Coventry, between 8 and 9 March.
