Cewe goes on spending spree at HP Drupa stand

Cewe Color has purchased two HP Indigo 7250 presses and an HP Indigo 7600 at Drupa. In addition, the company has signed a letter of intent for an HP Indigo 10000.

Cewe Color director Michael Fries said: "We are always looking for productive solutions. The web presses offer us inline production and a high level of automation."

The company has already been using an HP Indigo 7200 for the last two years. "We have a wide product portfolio and various quantity structures," added Fries. Hence the company has also invested in a sheetfed machine.

Cewe Color is expanding its business and in addition to photo books, greeting cards and calendars is increasingly printing business reports, manuals and brochures as short-run jobs.
