The south Wales-based printing company underwent a 12-week long application process that required it to review areas in which its activities and operations have an impact on the environment.
It was led by managing director Mark Williams, who said the process was very stringent and challenging but "a given" that it had to achieve it.
He said: "It was important for us to gain the ISO 14001 certification in order to demonstrate that we are fully aware of our environmental responsibilities and that we are doing our utmost to incorporate our environmental duties into our day-to-day business operations.
"It's now a given that we have to have this certification as we were getting lots of requests for it from our blue chip clients."
The Llantrisant-based, 30-staffed company specialises in digital, litho and large format printing. Its turnover is £2m and it is also FSC certified.
Williams said the company also has plans to add another press to its all Heidelberg house at the start of next year.
"The industry is struggling and it's imperative that we have the latest technology as a business," he said.
The company will now be required to demonstrate its continued conformity to the environmental legislation on an ongoing basis.
