The Egham, Surrey-based printer has installed the machine, which has been specified with coater and Inpress Control spectral measurement, to replace an outgoing CD 74 press.
John Vaughan, managing director at Kingsley Print & Design, said the company's trip to Ipex last year convinced him that technology had moved on and that "it was time to buy".
"We’ve done well in the recession; keeping the margin is key and this press gives us vastly reduced makeready times, reduced paper waste and, with the ink.line system, less ink waste," he added.
The family-owned business specialises in the production of commercial print including brochures, leaflets, posters and folders for both direct and agency clients.
Bradley Vaughan, sales director at Kingsley, added: "We are responsive. We have a sales force on hand to visit customers and to provide quotations within an hour of a call.
"We deliver good quality products on time at competitive prices. That is the key to our success in a challenging market."
