BPIF runs event on book sector

To coincide with the British Book and Design Awards, the BPIF is to hold a conference looking at the rapid changes facing the UK book market, specifically the impact of global market supply chains.

Cambrian Printers sales development director Carrick Wilkie, who is chairman of the BPIF’s Book Production Special Interest Group, will chair the half-day event.

Speakers will include Macmillan director Michael Barnard, Lightning Source UK commercial director Suzanne Wilson-Higgins, CPI publishing solutions director Richard Maskell and Lulu market development director Andrew Pate.

It takes place on 13 November at the Millennium Mayfair, London.
