The CFS 105 is a new cross cutter with a patented system that ensures the surface of the paper is not touched after cutting, enabling mark-free production. Managing director Dirk Vössing claimed that the new "air concept" combined ‘vacuum and hover’ techniques and would take the company into new markets.
"It opens up the packaging market to us and it is also ideal for sensitive or pre-printed paper," he said. "It is also great for smaller printshops, paper mills and merchants as it has a small footprint and is competitively priced."
The other new product is the SynchroOverlap. Using a similar friction-free technology to the CFS 105 cutter, it can be retrofitted on to existing paper converting kit to enable faster production and higher quality results because of the reduced contact time on the surface of the sheet.
Bielomatik is also launching upgrades for its extensive product range. These include a new cartridge system for the P35-49 Plus binding line and new optional fold delivery for the Speedliner T-165 multi-layer laminating machine.
Vössing said the new products and enhancements were designed to offer customers greater flexibility than ever, something the market now demands.
"With the shift towards digital there is significant demand for more flexibility in sheeting and cutting," he explained. "These new products address that need and think it will be a very successful show as a result."
