BGP secures three-year, 9m contract with Dennis

Web-offset publishing printer BGP has won a three-year agreement with Dennis Publishing worth around 3m per year.

The contract, which is the fourth between the two firms since 2006, will take effect from 31 December 2012 and last until 2015.

Among magazines covered under the contract are titles such as Men’s Fitness, Viz, The Week, Auto Express, PC Pro and Land Rover Monthly.

BGP’s contract also includes printing Dennis Publishing’s ‘MagBook’ magazine and book hybrid model , which is sold on high-traffic news stands.

Dennis publishing operations director Robin Ryan said the deal made good commercial sense to both parties.

He added: "We are happy to extend our print contract with the BGP group. We continue to enjoy a high quality service with our printed products being delivered to a high standard."

BGP chief executive David Holland said: "The formal business arrangement that we have has helped to strengthen our respective business performances in each succeeding year of operation and we firmly expect this trend to continue."
