The company added a range of printed materials to the sandstone, copper and glass building such as cast vinyl and printed vinyl colourbands applied directly to walls and doors.
Most of the work was produced on the company's Durst Rho 351 machine and also included printing directly to the reverse of toughened glass panels, produced and installed wayfinding signage on cut-to-shape Dibond as well as printing optically clear film applied to glazing.
In the main entrance print is part of every surface with designs using flowing lines to indicate the different areas of the facility.
The 40-staff company worked alongside contractor BAM and design business Liquid Solutions on the project.
Dan Chang, project leader at BAF, said, "We were involved from a very early stage working closely with all parties, developing the design concepts into functional and practical graphic solutions necessary for such a project. We undertook a full site survey at the outset and also spent three weeks installing the final designs on site. The close collaboration between all parties involved really helped to ensure that the project was a success.
"At BAF we looked carefully at the end use of each part of the building and chose the most appropriate materials we could, ranging from the thinnest grade, highest tack vinyls available through to the most durable, hardwearing toughened glass products."
Allan Taylor at The Learning Exchange said: "We are absolutely delighted with the whole look and feel of this new part of our campus. We're completely confident that all of our students will enjoy studying here."
