The system features Autobox’s Quick Set technology that enables the machines to auto-set for different box sizes or styles, typically in less than one minute.
The manufacturer’s machines can handle box blank widths from 100mm to 2.6m and can produce more than 100 different box styles without the need to change tooling.
Print can be added to boxes using the HiFlex range of single and two-colour flexo-printers, which were launched in October 2011 and are servo driven for quick set-up and accurate print registration.
More than 70% of Autobox’s turnover comes from export markets.
Autobox managing director Barry Tabor said: "We are very much looking forward to Drupa because its such an international exhibition which fits into the amount of export that we do. Drupa will be the first time that we are showing inline capability."
