The Derbyshire-based company's machine has the ability to inkjet print a spot UV, LED-curable varnish in-line on top of matt film.
It is able to apply variable spot UV varnish cost effectively on jobs in as low as two or three copies, the company claimed.
John Gilmore, managing director at Autobond, said: "Makeready jobs will be virtually eliminated and the running speed will be up to 30 metres a minute.
"The LED-curable lamps, which do not produce ozone, use around 20% of the power required by equivalent UV lamps and last about 12 times as long. They also run cold, so there is a reduced risk of fire."
Gilmore added: "It is three machines in one and it is very environmental. It will benefit short-run book printers particularly. It will save them a fortune as they will be able to do spot UV over matt laminating in-house."
The Mini 36 TPM-SUV will handle sheets up to 360x570mm, but Autobond said that, in the future, it could incorporate inkjet printed LED-curable spot UV varnish within any of its standard models.
It can also apply thermal film, magnet lamination and spot varnish on one or both sides of the sheet in a single pass.
Autobond will also display its redesigned entry-level laminator, the Mini 52 MF, plus two other laminators, the Mini 76 TPH and a Mini 76 TP thermal perfector, at the Ipex show in Birmingham from 18-25 May.
