The UK distributor for Ryobi presses will showcase digital and litho print production at the Hemel Hempstead site, as well as MIS, web-to-print, pre-press and finishing. In total, 25 different machines will be showcased at the event.
Bob Usher, joint managing director of Apex Digital Graphics, said the event was aimed at traditional litho printers that were looking to web-based and digital printing products.
He said: "We work with a number of suppliers and we hold an open house twice a year.
"At the event in April, we're targeting litho printers that want to have short run, high quality output.
The DPP 1200 will be given its UK debut at the open house. The machine offers commercial quality colour and produces short-run, full-colour output of business cards, posters, brochures, magazine covers, estate agent collateral and more, at up 175lpi.
ECRM said the DPP 1200 eliminated "the need to buy high-end equipment to enter into the competitive digital printing business".
