The Real Print and Finish event, so-called because it will focus on "genuine production solutions, not promises or possibilities", will feature a full range of pre-press, print and finishing equipment.
In addition to the official debut of Apex's new distribution partnership with Chinese CTP manufacturer Cron, the Hemel Hempstead open house will feature live demonstrations of Ryobi's LED-UV system, running on a five-colour B2 Ryobi 755G press.
Apex sales and marketing director Neil Handforth described the system as the "only genuine, fully integrated LED-UV system" adding that the benefits of "clean, instant LED-UV drying" would be demonstrated at the open house.
On the digital front, one of Apex's most successful production machines, the Konica Minolta C1060, will be shown, while IFS will bring some of the latest finishing equipment from Horizon and Foliant.
This will include a Horizon SL5500 Stitchliner with VAC-600HA collating tower and HOF-400 high-speed Digital Sheet Feeder, which enables the handling of mixed feed digital and litho sheets.
Other kit on show will include a Horizon BQ470 Perfect Binder and two Foliant laminators: the B3 Vega 400 and the B2 Taurus 530.
The show will run from 9.30am until 5pm on 10 and 12 March, with a later closing time of 8pm on 11 March. Those interested in attending can register online (realprintandfinish.com); anyone wishing to produce their own samples at the show should indicate this on their registration form.
