The scheme, which was founded by HRH The Prince of Wales in 2007, helps about 1,100 businesses realise the benefits of acting against climate change and provides practical support, such as developing profiles for low carbon activities.
Paper merchant Antalis has pledged to report business carbon emissions, develop a carbon action plan, reduce business carbon emissions and work with suppliers to reduce emissions in the supply chain.
Matthew Botfield, environmental manager at Antalis, said customers that are looking for recognition for their own green efforts join different benchmarking organisations.
"They then ask their suppliers to verify their environmental credence to the same benchmark. We have a preference to support our customers and to subscribe to organisations such as the Prince's May Day Network."
Antalis has 17 logistics centres across the UK and distributes paper, envelopes, consumables, packaging and promotional and visual communications.
It is a fully owned subsidiary of Sequana and serves some 230,000 print and business customers worldwide in 52 countries.
