Perton Signs is celebrating 150 years of continuous trading this year. The company has seen entire eras come and go, but what really matters to event organisers today, says director Andrew Kennedy, is how Perton delivered on their last exhibition or conference.

Where are you based?

Perton Signs has moved around the area a few times, but always been based in west London. It puts us within easy reach of all the London event venues and gives us easy access to the North and the NEC

How many staff do you have?

We are a team of 25

What does your firm do? 

We produce and install events graphics and signage. This could mean anything from a speaker’s namecard to the complete dressing of a major venue. And we manage the entire process from conception to erection

What’s your typical customer?

They fall into the category of event/exhibition/conference organisers, exhibitors and venues. Absolutely anyone organising an event who wants a graphic or signage

Which geographic areas do you serve, local, national international?

We serve customers across the UK and Europe

What’s your USP?

Absolute dependability. We have a 150-year-old reputation for service, flexibility, quality and consistency to maintain, and you are only as good as your last job.

What equipment do you run?

We have a full range of output devices that range through Vutek, Roland, Océ, HP, AXYZ and all of the hardware and software to support the production of any graphic needed.

Where do you see your business in five years’ time?

Still independent, still producing amazing graphics and continuing to ‘wow’ the event industry

What’s your team’s favourite biscuit?

Definitely digestives - no chocolate!
