The company said it had identified a gap in the market and its existing service portfolio for medium-sized businesses who use advertising mail but also require a more personalised service.
Posthub, which went live earlier this week, will offer cost-effective and competitive postal costs, through Whistl’s flexible pricing structures, experienced account management, including service provision of mail piece proofing, Mailmark, reporting, and any relevant Royal Mail incentive applications.
Comprehensive data services, including mail sortation and data cleansing, and complete job management, to ensure mailings are dispatched on time to the required schedule, will also be provided through the service.
Based in Bristol, the new Posthub team will be headed up by sales and commercial director Neil Carter, operations director Mark Temperley, operations manager Alison Ingham-Barrow, and head of data management Nick Welsman.
Whistl chief executive Nick Wells said: “The Posthub team will work with businesses on their mailing campaigns, guiding them through the postal journey from planning to delivery, whilst also helping to simplify the complexity of their data requirements.
“The team are highly respected in the industry and launching Posthub enables them to provide the level and quality of service they know customers require, but also backed by the UK’s leading mail delivery network.”
Whistl said the cost of using the Posthub service will be scalable to the requirements of the client.
Whistl recently acquired Clientbase Fulfilment and Contact Centre, its third transaction in the e-commerce fulfilment and contact centre sector.
With a turnover of more than £685m, Whistl now employs around 2,250 staff and is headquartered in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.
