The Dutch print media and textiles manufacturer and distributor said that with increasing demand for both sustainable products and calls for corporate social responsibility, it is committed to innovation in this area.
With the textile recycling service, TTS said it will facilitate logistics and offer all its soft signage customers the opportunity to have used sublimation printed textiles collected and recycled. This includes flags, silicone edge graphics, banners, and textile remnants that are used for short periods, including at trade shows or festivals.
TTS will store these and offer them as one large recycling batch to its partner Frankenhuis, a recycling company that specialises in sustainable textile processing. Frankenhuis then recycles these textiles as furniture padding. TTS said the service gives a long second life to textiles that are usually only used for a few days.
TTS director Floris Jan van den Heuvel said: “Clients and their customers are facing increasing sustainability demands and requirements on the products they use, such as for exhibition stand construction.
“They need to make a green switch to avoid losing orders to competitors that do offer products that meet these requirements. With TTS, they can rely on our green expertise and advice, a comprehensive range, high-quality service, and competitive pricing. TTS can also offer rapid supply from stock, and it has their own large-scale storage.”
He added TTS can also guarantee that its products have European certification.
“TTS is all about guaranteed quality, safety, and control. Customers want a good price, but don’t want poor or unsafe products that could result in reputational damage. TTS offers a full service so customers can be sure that everything is taken care of in one go, with no headaches.”
The company will reveal more information at Fespa about several new green products, as well as a complete RC range that will enable it to offer a recycled alternative for all textiles.
TTS will exhibit on stand C51 in hall B1 at Fespa, taking place at Messe Munich from 23-26 May.
