'The business is much broader now'

Integrity Print parent rebrands to better reflect group offering

Cornford: new name is a better reflection of how cool my business is

The holding company that owns Integrity Print, A1 Security Print, Alliance Labels and a raft of other businesses has rebranded to better reflect the breadth of the current group.

MCAARP Holdings was established in 2008 when Mark Cornford helmed an MBO of the then- Communisis business forms wing along with Arthur Ayres and Robert Payne – hence the initials.

Over the intervening 15 years the business has diversified, reshaped and added a string of new operations via acquisitions. Both Ayres and Payne have also stepped back, leaving Cornford as the majority shareholder.

MCAARP has now been rebranded as Integrity Communications Group, while the subsidiary companies retaining their existing brands and are unaffected by the change of name at the topco – so there is no impact for customers or suppliers.

The Midsomer Norton headquartered group’s operations are split into four divisions: Print, Labels, Customer Communications and Security Products.

Cornford said: “The business is much broader now and with different routes to market. It’s got more manufacturing, but it also has a sizeable technology offering.

“I’m proud of my business and I don’t want people to think we’re just business forms, as was. What we’ve done with this rebrand is get rid of an old name that didn’t really mean anything.” he explained.

“I think the new name is a better reflection of the whole group – most people don’t realise how big and broad, and how cool my business is!”

Integrity Communications Group had sales of around £61m in 2022 and made an EBITDA margin of 6.8%. Cornford said he expected sales to reach £66m this year.

Plans for a new website showcasing the whole group’s capabilities are also in the works.
