The new agreements with Office Friendly and Superstat, which began in mid-July, follow partnerships initiated earlier this year with office industry buying groups Integra Business Solutions and Nemo Office Club. They bring Haybrooke’s reach in the sector to nearly 1,000 office dealers across the UK.
Leicestershire-based Haybrooke said the primary goal of the partnerships is to empower office dealers to grow existing print buying categories and create new ones, easily and sustainably, utilising Haybrooke’s printing as a service (PaaS) model, powered by PDQ Print Hub.
Haybrooke CEO John Roche said: “We are thrilled to welcome Office Friendly and Superstat into our growing network of partners in the office sector. These collaborations represent a significant milestone in our mission to revolutionise print buying for office dealers.
“With nearly 1,000 office dealers now within our reach, even a modest print spend of £1,000 per dealer per year would bring an additional £1m of print under Haybrooke’s control annually. This expansion underscores our commitment to delivering exceptional value and innovation to the office sector.”
Jeanette Caswell, managing director of Office Friendly, commented: “Office Friendly is excited to join forces with Haybrooke. PDQ Print Hub offers our dealers a powerful tool to expand their print offerings and enhance their service capabilities.
“This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to provide our members with the best resources and support to grow their businesses.”
Richard Lockley, director at Superstat, added: “Our partnership with Haybrooke is a game-changer for Superstat members. The ease of use and advanced features of PDQ Print Hub will enable our dealers to streamline their print procurement processes and increase their profitability. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this collaboration will have on our network.”
Separately, Haybrooke has revealed that it is launching its new quoting interface for PDQ Print Hub in September.
Roche said the new interface simplifies the print pricing process for non-experts to an “extraordinary degree”, allowing users to toggle between the new ‘easy RFQ’ interface and the existing ‘classic’ interface.
He added the enhancement aims to make print procurement more accessible and efficient for all users, regardless of their level of expertise.
“The upcoming launch of our new quoting interface represents a significant step forward in our ongoing efforts to make print buying more intuitive and user-friendly.
“By providing both an easy RFQ option and a classic interface, we are catering to the diverse needs of our users and ensuring that everyone can benefit from our platform’s capabilities.”
Roche told Printweek the company is also looking at expanding into the paper buying sector and is currently in conversation with a couple of merchants in that space with a view to providing paper pricing services.
This, he said, would potentially centralise access to competitive pricing for paper merchants and other paper buyers from a broad range of mills and similar suppliers.
Finally, Haybrooke has also been shortlisted for Small Business of the Year at the British Business Awards, which take place in London on 14 November, while also reaching the finals of the SME National Business Awards in the categories of High Growth Business of the Year, Employer of the Year, and the Sustainability Award. This event takes place at Wembley Stadium in London on 6 December.
Haybrooke has eight staff. For the year ending May 2024 it posted a profitable turnover of £2.2m and Roche said he expected this to rise to between £3m to £3.5m this year, considering the company’s current growth trajectory and other opportunities.
In November last year the business supported its growth by relocating to a new office at the Harborough Innovation Centre in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
