The luxury home of a disgraced former mailing boss is going up for auction with a guide price of nearly £3m.

Narinder Sandhu was jailed for four years in February. He was the architect of a huge £70m-plus fraud against Royal Mail when he ran Aylesbury-based Packpost International.

The fraud went on for years and funded a luxury lifestyle that included high-end cars and the purchase of Hadley Grange, a five-bedroom detached property in the leafy village of Jordans near Beaconsfield.

Hadley Grange is now up for auction with Landwood Property Auctions.

It is being sold under Proceeds of Crime legislation on behalf of the court-appointed official receiver.

The house has more than 650sqm of accommodation over three floors, including cinema room and gym. It sits on a large plot of almost one acre.

The freehold property also has a detached triple garage with accommodation above, and a separate pool house with hot tub and steam room.

The guide price is £2.75m-plus, with a minimum opening bid stipulated of £2.6m.

The auction will take place on 24 April.
