Kaizen Print was formed five years ago, in a bedroom in Connor McAuley’s house. It was born from a passion for print, design, customer service and marketing. In 2011 his brother Martin joined the business as a partner and since then it has grown significantly.

Where are you based?

How many staff do you have? 

We’ve grown to be 10 strong, including four full-time graphic designers

What does your firm do? 

Predominantly, short-run POS, marketing materials and large format printing. Our design team are widely recognised throughout Belfast and Northern Ireland

What’s your typical customer? 

Our typical customer is a young business looking to increase their marketing remit

Which areas do you serve? 

Belfast is our primary area. However last month we sent business cards and roller banners to an expat now living in Sydney 

Who are your clients? 

Belfast isn’t a huge place, so we’re probably related to most of our customer base

What’s your company’s motto? 

Kaizen is Japanese for continuous improvement. This in essence is our motto. To do better, to be better

What’s your proudest achievement? 

Building a successful printing business that keeps 10 people employed

Where do you see your business in five years’ time? 

Growing our customer base throughout Belfast and further afield. Increasing capacity across our machinery and being an industry leader here in Northern Ireland
